NEW for 2016 – Introducing Explain and Train Sessions!

Want to get fit and stay healthy, but don’t know where to start?

Looking to join an OCL centre, but not confident with the equipment?

Our NEW Explain and Train sessions are the perfect solution for you! Starting at Oldham Leisure Centre, these instructor-led lessons will be held every weekday covering Cardio, Core, Functional, and Weights areas so that you can get a feel for the right pace and style of workout for you, whilst getting familiar with the equipment and facilities.

Monday & Friday – 09:30am – 10:00am – Cardio

Providing a full body workout, the Cardio sessions will give you the confidence to try each machine and can be tailored to suit your individual goals and abilities.

Tuesday – 09:30am – 10:00am – Core

Our friendly instructors explain how you can keep your body strong and supple by concentrating on the core, which helps increase mobility and flexibility.

Wednesday – 09:30am – 10:00am – Functional

By using simple yet effective movements, you can become stronger by using both your own bodyweight and also the gym equipment.

Thursday – 09:30am – 10:00am – Weights

If you want to build muscle or simply tone up, the weights sessions allow you to focus on different areas of the body each week. Our friendly instructors can talk you through the safe use of free weights and resistance equipment to help you get fitter, stronger, and to burn more calories.

These sessions are FREE as part of your Active membership or just £2.85 with an Active card. All you need to do is book up to 7 days in advance either online or by calling 0161 207 7000!
