From Monday 23rd October to Sunday 5th November the swimming pool at Saddleworth Pool & Leisure Centre will be closed for important refurbishments. The pool will reopen on Monday 6th November and normal sessions and activities will resume.

I have an Active Plus membership. Can I use a swimming pool at a different centre while this one is closed?
Yes. If you have an Active Plus membership at Saddleworth Pool & Leisure Centre, you can use a pool at one of our other Centres while the pool is closed.
My child attends swimming lessons at Saddleworth Pool & Leisure Centre. What will happen during the closure?
Saddleworth Swimming lessons will be cancelled over the period. Customers who pay for lessons by 10 week blocks will have credits automatically added to their account for missed lessons. Direct Debit customers will have their direct debit reduced accordingly.
Can these refurbishment not be done at night when the centre is closed?
Unfortunately not, the work being carried out is quite extensive and involves fully draining the pool. We have tried to keep disruption to a minimum, ensuring the pool is only closed for 14 days.
Can I use other facilities at the centre while the work is carried out?
Yes, the studio, gym, outdoor pitches and changing rooms will be open as usual during this time.
Can I still use the sauna and steam rooms while the pool is closed?
The sauna and steam room will be open as usual while the pool is closed. Access will be via the door at the top of the corridor.
