Running Club

JPL_0263-X2A run team leader will help you get from walking to a gentle jog, up to training for a 5k or even a half marathon. Let us help you achieve your goals, beginners welcome.

Our track sessions at The Radclyffe Athletics Centre are interval based combining short/moderate intensity walking/running with active rest periods between , suitable for those who are just about to start running and those who are already running short distance who would benefit from some advice on technique, posture and how to increase the distance progressively.

The Running Club session on Wednesday evening is a social run for those at intermediate level and above – a great session to meet other runners! This session follows routes of up to 5 miles around Oldham, no pressure, and regular stops to regroup. All sessions are led by UK Athletic run leader coaches.
