Oldham Leisure Centre marks a turning point in Oldham’s leisure and fitness offering. Bringing an investment of over £15 million, and a long-term plan that will put Oldham on the national sporting map, residents of Oldham will have access to more exercise, fitness, leisure, and recreational activities than ever before. There is also FREE car parking for members.

The brand new centre offers members a custom designed 80 station gym, which uses the latest technology for an enhanced and more enjoyable workout, as well as a dedicated spin studio for those who want to push their cycling a little further.

Our outstanding new swimming pool sits under a generous viewing balcony, which overlooks our 25 metre, county level, 8 lane pool, plus separate learner pool for beginner and family sessions.

The 8 court sports hall offers members the chance to take part in a vast range of sports, from badminton, netball, football, cricket, and table tennis.

Our two studios provide the most comprehensive exercise class offering in the area, with over 65 sessions per week available.

For those who want to exercise at a gentler pace, we also have 4 bowls rinks, great for individual or team based events. Plus the centre also provides free parking for members and our welcome Revolve Cafe to relax in.


Facilities at Oldham Leisure Centre



Our state of the art gym boasts 80 workout stations, providing a large range of cardio and resistance training equipment for our members, as well as a superb collection of free weights and designated zones for warm up and warm down.

The new gym uses leading cardio and resistance equipment from Technogym, featuring popular machines such as bikes, rowers, cross trainers, and ‘Run Now’ treadmills, which have a cushioned surface for a more natural running sensation.

The gym also features Vario, Crossover, and Synchro equipment providing members total upper and lower body workouts, as well as offering Recline and Step machines, which are perfect for users with limited mobility.

Technogym equipment can also be used with the Apple and Android app MYWELLNESS. It enables members to access their fitness data, personalised programme, favourite videos, and lots more – all displayed on integrated TVs.


With two large dance studios and a custom built spinning studio, members at the all new Oldham Leisure Centre are bound to love what’s on offer!

Covering all types of of exercise classes, from Aerobics, Legs, Bums & Tums and Yoga, right through to Zumba, Circuit Training and the exciting new Les Mills classes, you’re sure to find the right class for your interest and level of fitness.

Our fantastic new exercise and spinning studios boast over 3,252 metres of floor space, meaning that we’re able to offer more classes and a wider range of activities than any other provider in the local area.


Our county level 25 metre, 8 lane swimming pool is sure to make a splash, providing plenty of space and a comfortable environment for all levels of swimmers.

The shallow learner pool is a great place for beginners and children to gain better confidence in the water and is also used for a wide range of public and family swim sessions, plus weekly Parent & Baby sessions helping your little one’s first experience of water to be fun, relaxing, and enjoyable.


Sauna and Steam

Our Cedar clad cabin sauna has been fitted with amber LED mood lighting, whilst our steam room boasts colour changing LED lights and essence dosing for ultimate relaxation,  providing the perfect environment to unwind at the end of a busy day.

Sports Hall

The all-new Oldham Leisure Centre sports hall offers 8 courts with a flexible seating area able to house over 450 spectators, making it perfect for events of varying sizes and popularity. Our sports hall also offers members the chance to take part in sports such as badminton, netball, football, table tennis, cricket, and much more.

Indoor Bowls

Our indoor bowls hall offers four state of the art rinks that are precisely levelled for accuracy. The bowls hall uses lighting that is glare free, giving you the best possible indoor bowling experience.

Can I park at the new leisure centre and do I have to pay?

If you’re a member or visitor to the centre, parking is free for the first 3 hours and £2.50 thereafter per hour. Please use the kiosk behind the turnstiles after your visit to validate your parking.


Is there disabled access to the new leisure centre?

The new Oldham Leisure Centre is fully accessible for all visitors.

Are there refreshments available at the new leisure centre?

The new Revolve Café will be open to visitors and the public. We also have a selection of vending machines and a comfortable refreshments lounge for visitors to relax in.

Can I look round the new centre when it’s open?

Facilities available include:

  • Main Pool – 25m long x 8 lane swimming pool (short course competition pool, 1m to 2m deep).
  • Learner/warm-Up Pool: 15m x 10m practice pool (at a constant 900mm deep).
  • Free parking (120 spaces & coach drop off area).
  • Timing system – Colorado timing system supplied by HS sports. (Extra charge if we need to supply staff to operate).
  • Score board – 3 x 2m., full colour matrix video display.
  • PA / microphone – championship start system with wired microphone.
  • Starting blocks – competition pedestal start blocks with adjustable footrests.
