Fitness Membership and Lesson Subscription Price Update
New Year Member Update
As we approach the festive season, we want to take a moment to extend our warmest wishes to all of our members. We hope you enjoy the upcoming celebrations and have a wonderful start to the New Year. On behalf of everyone at Oldham Active, we’d like to personally thank you for choosing us to help you on your journey towards a healthier lifestyle.
As a charity, every penny of income we generate is reinvested into improving our services across our sites and within the wider community. We’d like to share some of the key investments we’ve made this year, our plans for 2025, and important information regarding adjustments to some membership fees starting in January. These changes are essential to help us manage rising energy and staffing costs and to fund ongoing improvements to our services over the next 12 months.
Membership Rate Adjustments
To ensure we can continue to invest in our services while maintaining long-term sustainability, we will be implementing a price increase in January for some members/lesson subscription holders. Memberships/subscriptions will continue to provide customers with the same access and features always enjoyed. These adjustments will allow us to continue providing the high-quality experience and facilities you’ve come to expect.
For customers with an older ‘legacy’ Health and Fitness membership and all customers with a swimming lesson, football or gymnastic DD subscription. As of January 1st, 2024, there will be changes to membership and lesson monthly Direct Debit fees (excludes Ultimate and Classic memberships).
Your direct debit will automatically update to reflect the new price, and payments will continue to be taken on the same date as usual. You do not need to take any action to make these changes.
We have sent specific details on these changes to the email addresses we have for you on file, so please check your inbox and junk folders. Further correspondence will be sent shortly by our Direct Debit collection agency DFC. If you have one of these memberships/subscriptions and have not received an email or need to update your email address, please get in touch.
