Important news about Saddleworth Pool & Leisure Centre
Saddleworth Pool & Leisure Centre is set to receive a £250,000 investment in the gym and studio area this month. Starting November 25th, the modification will include a complete refurbishment of the exercise class studio and gym, featuring brand-new cardio and strength-training equipment and updating the flooring, décor and lighting to create a modern and relaxing environment.
Key Dates for Members who use Saddleworth Pool & Leisure Centre:
- Studio will be closed for 2 weeks: Closing Monday, November 25th – Reopening Monday, December 9th
- Gym floor will be closed for 2 weeks: Closing Monday, December 9th – Reopening Monday, December 23rd
- Swimming pool: The pool will remain open throughout the refurbishment.
During the refurbishment, Saddleworth Pool & Leisure Centre members can maintain their fitness routines by accessing the facilities, classes, and pools at any of our four Oldham Active Leisure Centre locations: Oldham Leisure Centre, Royton Leisure Centre, Chadderton Leisure Centre, and Failsworth Leisure Centre. If you would like t to book a class at another one of our leisure centres, select your chosen leisure centre and book via the app as usual.

The refurbishment work is anticipated to be completed by December 23rd, just in time for members to enjoy the new facilities over the Christmas holidays.
